What You Need To Know About Vaping In The UAE?

Are you looking to replace regular tobacco use, or do you want a cleaner solution for nicotine ingestion while avoiding the many dangerous chemicals involved in puffing a traditional cigarette? Choosing a clean method of inhaling nicotine is paramount to protecting your lung health, and the closest thing you can get to that is vaping.

Why Switch to Vaping?

Using e-cigarettes and other forms of vaporizers, also known as vaping, is one of the best alternatives to conventional forms of nicotine ingestion, such as tobacco cigarettes, and can reduce the risk of inhaling potentially harmful substances and may also help with smoking cessation.

If you are new to the world of smokeless, tobacco-free cigarettes, it can be surprising how many benefits a person can gain by switching from the traditional smoking experience to using e-cigarettes.

What is a vape or Electronic Cigarette?

E-cigarettes are battery-powered smoking devices that release heated vapors of a solution containing nicotine and flavorings for the user to inhale. Vaping offers a similar sensation to inhaling tobacco smoke, only without the smoke. Most e-cigarettes have refillable cartridges that are reusable and replaceable.

How it works.

When a user turns on the e-cigarette and inhales air through the device's mouthpiece, the battery is activated and powers an atomizer (heating element) that emits aerosols, or vapors, containing a mixture of a propellant gas and particles, including nicotine and other flavorings. To give more context, aerosols are created under low air pressure and released as a fine spray using a propellant gas.

Types of E-Cigarettes

Electronic smokeless smoking devices come in many forms - pens, cigarette look-alikes, e-hookahs or even stylish tech gadgets. Although these electronic smoking devices are sold in a huge range of shapes, sizes and designs, they have a similar way of working and contain similar ingredients.

E-Cigarettes are the Best Alternative to Conventional Smoking

E-cigarettes do not contain the estimated 7,000 harmful chemical ingredients found in conventional cigarettes. The chemical compounds and toxins in the aerosol of e-cigarettes are present in lower concentrations than in conventional cigarette smoke. This means that an e-cigarette smoker does not have to interact with the toxic impurities and tars that are produced when the tobacco in the conventional cigarette is burned. Furthermore, the negative effects of conventional smoking are reduced as the body is made to interpret it as a habitual act, while the results of vaping do not include the destructive effects of the harmful chemicals.

E- Cigarette Laws & Regulations in UAE

The UAE officially legalized the sale and use of electronic cigarettes in April 2019 to curb the sale of unregulated e-cigarettes and ensure that the nicotine components of vapor are 95% less harmful than traditional cigarettes. So when you buy e-cigarettes in the UAE, you no longer have to worry about the safety of the device or the ingredients used, as vapes are now officially monitored and regulated.

Experts predict that more than 64 million people will switch to e-cigarettes in the next three years and Dubai will provide a global platform for the industry, which is expected to be worth $53.4 billion by 2024.

Even though the sale of e-cigarettes and vapes has been legalized in the UAE, vapers need to keep up with the country's new vaping rules and laws.

Anyone caught vaping or using an e-cigarette in non-smoking or unauthorized areas in Dubai will face a fine of up to Dh2,000. According to The National, the Department of Health and Safety ( Dubai Municipality ) "will take necessary measures to track down violators smoking e-cigarettes in public places."
